Doni Ahmadi was born and raised in Jakarta. He writes short stories, essays, and occasionally translates. With three partners, he founded, and now manages, Anagram Publisher. Doni has been an editor at the literary bulletin Stomata and prose editor at jakartabeat.net. His book is the collection of short stories “Pengarang Dodit” (2019) and his translations are “The Sea Close By” (2019) by Albert Camus and “Lubang di Tembok & Kisah-kisah Sekali Duduk” (2020) by Ben Loory et al. Doni is currently a freelance writer and manages a culture platform as an editor.
JILF is an annual international literary festival initiated by the Literary Committee of Jakarta Arts Council (JAC). Just as JAC was built and nurtured by artists and for arts, JILF was founded by writers for the sake of literature and book industry.
