Future Stories/Future Realities
If realities help shape our stories, what would our literature look like when we are not experiencing the same things? Algorithms increasingly played a part in the way we perceive and experience the world around us. But the screens that we use to access information does not necessarily provide us with the same set of data and reality for everyone. What we watch and read through the screens are often amplifying what we already believed instead of providing us with a new set of information. These different sets of realities affect the way we process what goes on in our society. How would these ‘parallel realities’ influence the way we navigate our current moment and the way we explore identities and existence? And how would this affect the way we write our stories in the future?
